Prim-U is an on-demand booking platform that connects businesses in the beauty and wellness industry with customers any time, anywhere to sell and distribute products and offer professional services. As a start-up, the services are still new and the client base is expanding. For this reason, a comprehensive digital strategy is crucial - and previous cohorts of iX students have worked on it in the past.
The company has a basic online presence already: there are externally-managed Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter pages. These will need to be analyzed, re-imagined and redeployed for maximum impact in the South African market.
Students developed a digital presence to reach end-consumers, service providers (beauticians, nail technicians, hairdressers, makeup artists, and therapists), companies for wellness programs, and beauty product manufacturing companies for product distribution.
