That’s the function of venture capital and private equity investing, in a nutshell. In a course covering VC and PE (as they’re known in the industry), you’ll learn how to analyze and evaluate potential investments, conduct the various steps in the investment process, and how investment exit strategies are developed and implemented. This is the ideal skill set for those looking to shape the future. What can we say? Money talks.
Our internships are different from the usual. Instead of leaving you on your own, we provide you with daily support and occasional classes to cover additional material. That means you'll be able to create huge value in a short time—all of which you can add to your resume to show future employers.

The iX programs cover the exact combination of learning and experience that is not offered in a traditional college classroom until upperclassman years. If you are interested in finance, this is the perfect and only opportunity as an underclassman to learn new skills and apply those at real financial services companies or projects.
iX helped me to understand and gain the skills that are required to enter the financial industry. Beyond just the skills, with the incredible teaching team who was always there whenever we needed help, I learned more about myself too.
The iX Private Equity & Venture Capital course was a great way to get a very in-depth understanding of the general business operations and financial services VC and PE firms offer. Being able to work with and help an organization identify potential investors to expand their project allowed me to further develop my professional skills.
iX was a great experience coming from a liberal arts background to get into the more technical aspects of finance that I can’t learn at school. The program was excellent in helping me fill gaps as well as prepare me for a future career in the finance industry.
I learned more than I could ever imagine and feel very prepared for applying to the business school at UVA and taking new classes. To now be able to create numerous financial statements and understand the foundation of PE and VC, I feel very enlightened.
My experience was amazing. I was able to learn a ton in a short amount of time, network with people from all around the world, and present to a client in a professional manner! My teachers were also very knowledgable, helpful, and cared about our success!
