2020 will be the source of countless economic case studies and research papers. By doing this program, my students will get to be a very real part of historic financial market events. We will touch on macroeconomics, accounting, financial statement analysis, valuations, fixed income and derivatives, portfolio construction, and most importantly - Excels
Similar to my experience with online classes at university, I came in being unsure of how everything would work, especially with group work and the internship. However, through the use of zoom, slack, and google drive, my classmates and I were able to adapt to this new working environment. I was able to use what I learned in class and apply it to a real world project during my internship.
It was a great experience coming from a liberal arts background to get into the more technical aspects of investment finance that I can’t learn at college. It was an excellent program and really helped me fill in gaps as well as prepare me for a career in finance.
