Full-Stack Web Development is the most popular developer occupation today. Increasingly, companies want versatile engineers who can work on many parts of their websites or apps.
In simple terms, a Full-Stack Web Developer is someone who is able to work on both the front-end and back-end portions of an internet application. Full Stack developers are good at seeing the bigger picture, integrating an entire solution. They’ve mastered the systematic thinking of coders, but the best also have the empathy and research skills of product managers and UX designers.

Before coming to iXperience, I had never even typed a single line of code. After 4 weeks I was able to create a web application for a new building security sign-in method, applying the skills I learned in the classroom in my internship.
I was learning at a very fast pace throughout the program and was exposed to so many things that I never knew existed. The Full Stack Coding class has definitely prepared me for my future career.
I haven’t learned as much and as fast ever, like I did during the Full Stack course. iX creates an environment that’s fun and challenging and pushes you to grow in the best way. This has definitely been the highlight of my summer!
I directly applied the information gained in the classroom environment into an actual marketable skill. Where the classroom experience gave me the building blocks to become a good coder, the internship pushed me to make something of those blocks, teaching me how to think in terms of scalability.
After two months of learning and adventuring in the most magical place I could imagine, I am returning to school confident in my decision to major in Computer Science and am relatively certain that I want to be a software engineer after I graduate.
